Shropshire Business Awards 2017

We were delighted to be able to attend our second major awards ceremony of 2017 recently – the Shropshire Business Awards.

Run by the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, the annual business awards really are the Oscars of the Shropshire business community.

There were about 650 people at the ceremony, which took place at the Telford International Centre on Friday 23rd June, and we were proud that Sentinel Care Services was one of the shortlisted businesses.

We were pipped to the post for an award, but being one of the four finalists in the Technology, Enterprise and Innovation category was still a major achievement for us as a company.

Managing director Steve Harris attended the ceremony with his wife and fellow Sentinel director, Sally Harris.

He said: “It was a very impressive event, with all the biggest companies from across Shropshire represented.

“So we were absolutely delighted to be a finalist alongside some of the most successful businesses in the area.

“We were the only care provider to be named as a finalist, and we were very proud to be part of the awards.

“It’s important to say a big thank you to our staff and of course our customers, who play such a major part in the ongoing success of the company.”
