We were proud and delighted to attend the Shropshire Star Excellence in Business Awards ceremony recently.
OK, so we didn’t win, but being named as a finalist in the best small to medium-sized business category was a fantastic achievement for us here at Sentinel Care Services.

As managing director, Steve Harris, says – it’s not the winning but taking part that counts.
“The awards ceremony was a great experience for us as a team,” Steve says, “and it was clear from looking around the room that there were some very impressive businesses in the running for awards.
“We were keen to enter the awards in the first place because we wanted to make people aware that care companies are doing an important job and working incredibly hard despite challenging times for the industry.
“So we were delighted to be named as finalists and the judges said some very complimentary things about our business, which was nice to hear.
“It would have been great to win, but we were genuinely pleased to make it to the final and hopefully change some perceptions about where the care industry is at the moment.
“It’s testament to our fantastic staff and customers that the judges named us as a finalist, so I would like to say a big thank you to them.”
