Two of our carers who provide care to people in their homes across Shropshire and Staffordshire have been given special awards for their service.
The Sentinel Star carer of the quarter award has been presented to Nicola Hilliard, who has only been with the firm for six months.
Nicola has become an outstanding member of staff who has become a firm favourite with customers and fellow team members alike.
Steve Harris, managing director of Sentinel Care Services, says: “Nicola has been with us for six months now, having started back in April, and has fast become a member of staff we and her team can rely upon.
“She has built great relationships with her customers and peers and always helps out whenever she can. Congratulations to Nicola, a very deserved winner.”
Another carer, Shani Degnen, has been given a “special mention” award for outstanding service to the people she cares for.
Steve adds: “Shani is a great example of what we are looking for in all of our staff – outstanding commitment to caring for her clients.
“We presented Shani with a bouquet of flowers as a token of our appreciation for her continued hard work and helping out so much.
“She always helps out when she can and is a great support to her team.”
Meanwhile, a further two members of staff have been given “good feedback” badges in recognition of very positive comments from their clients.
Stephanie Oliver and Chelsea Williams have been praised by customers, who said they had a lovely manner and were among the best carers they had ever had.
